CMR 37 - 2007

CMR 37, our sixth car set out to improve upon CMR 72, particularly when it came to the "epic understeer." It suceeded in this area resulting in a neutral handling car that was much easier to drive. This was assisted by the switch to a barrel throttle made in house which benefitted both maximum power and the drivability of the engine. The body was designed completely in CAD before being sent to Honda for the machining of a male plug. Female molds made off of the plug and used for body production. At competition we our highest finishe ever in design, but were unable to complete endurance due to the car overheating in the hot California conditions.
