Airport - General:
The Pittsburgh International Airport (PIT) is the #1 ranked US, and #3 ranked international airport in shops/amenities and comfort/design. It has direct service from many US cities as well as from Europe. The Pittsburgh airport is traveler friendly and includes a full-service post office, shops, bars, restaurants, and a chapel / mosque.

Getting between the Airport and the Renaissance Hotel:
It's easy traveling between the airport and the hotel. At the airport, all ground transportation is available from the airport's lower level, near baggage claim:
  • Taxi: The Yellow Cab Company serves PIT and will take up to four passengers.
    • Hours of Operation: 24 hours.
    • Cost: About $35 each way plus tip.

  • Shuttle: The ExpressShuttle USA shuttle runs daily from PIT directly to the Reniassance Hotel.
    • Hours of Operation:
      • From the airport: daily and hourly from 7:00 am until 11:40 pm.
      • To the airport: daily and hourly from 6:10 am until 9:10 pm.
    • Cost: $17 each way or $32 round trip plus tip.

  • Bus: The 28X bus, run by the Port Authority Transit, is the "Airport Flyer" and makes several stops downtown on its run from PIT. Disembark at the "Liberty Avenue at 6th Street" stop.
    • Hours of Operation: Daily from 5:13 am until 10:58 pm.
    • Cost: About $2.25 each way.
