CMU Solutions is a non-profit student organization at Carnegie Mellon University's Undergraduate School of Industrial Administration. It gives students from all programs and majors the opportunity to gain vital real-world work experience and improve business/technical skills.

CMU Solutions is a non-profit student organization that provides community service by working with local businesses and organizations on projects that apply students' knowledge and skills to provide meaningful service contributions to community and professional organizations.

Students in this organization are actively seeking business opportunities by working with career services, local businesses, and community organizations and their partners. Once an accepting business or organization has been found, the students and business/organization identify a project that is feasible for both parties. The project must require significant effort and promote meaningful use of business skills, thus permitting students to learn, develop and improve. The duration of the project may vary with each case but it must be no longer than 1 academic school year (2 semesters).

Ideally, we are looking to work with businesses and organizations who give us the opportunity to significantly help and contribute in accomplishing their objectives. We are willing to help companies and organizations in any facet of their business activities including but not limiting to: basic financial analysis, market research, promotional activities, operations, and improvement activities.
