Freeland area Bible study retreat held in Montrose, Pa in July 1946
From Bob Zimmerman, a photo of a group of Freeland area people attending a religious retreat at Montrose, Pa. in July 1946. The event was led by Charles Crawford. The cost for attending was about $12/person for 6 days. Shown here are the photo, front and back, and then another copy on which Bob wrote numbers on some of the people and then a numbered list he compiles of 31 names to identify 31 people on the photo - I've cropped that copy to focus on the people so it can be enlarged somewhat. It looks as though "Wilcox 1946" is handwritten diagonally on the bottom left corner of the original photo, and the back was signed by participants. Great to have this shared. Thank you, Bob.

From Valerie Bedard: My grandfather, Rev Edward E Davis, was a member of the Harlor Bible Class. This was their class photo for 1955. This class was with St Paul’s United Methodist Church in Hazleton.
My grandfather is directly under the right light in the middle row. He has white hair and a light colored suit.
My uncle, Ted Schuchart, is in the back row on the left side of the middle set of doors. His suit looks like it’s dark gray and he is wearing glasses.

From Valerie Bedard: My aunt left this photo of the Harlor Bible Class Annual Corn Roast and Hotdogs. It was taken in Butler Valley. The Harlor Bible Class was part of St. Paul’s Methodist Church in Hazleton. Perhaps this is from the 50s.
My uncle, Ted Schuchart, is the third person from the left standing.
