Carnegie Mellon University Archives

The University Archives (Hunt Library, 2nd floor) is the repository for official and unofficial university records documenting Carnegie Mellon's history. The Archives serves as the collective memory of the university and, as such, contains official records and personal papers generated by faculty, academic departments, administrative offices, and campus organizations which have historical or administrative importance. The primary responsibilities of the Archives are to preserve the collections and make them available for reference and research; and to provide useful documentation of the policies, people, aims, achievements, and events of the university. All members of the Carnegie Mellon community and other qualified researchers are welcome.
