I am currently looking for students to work on research in network economics, cloud computing, and edge/fog computing. If you're interested, please email me a description of your research interests and copy of your CV.
Hello! I received my Ph.D. (and M.A., and A.B.) from Princeton University. I primarily work on mathematical aspects of computer and information networks, and am particularly interested in applying theoretical insights to practical system deployments. Here is a video of me talking about some of my research projects.
From July 2013 to June 2014, I took a one-year leave of absence from graduate school as the Director of Advanced Research at DataMi, a startup company I co-founded in 2012. DataMi's products, which grew out of my smart data pricing (SDP) research at Princeton, have been deployed by Internet service providers around the world, including AT&T in the U.S., Airtel in India, and Orange in Europe. My other graduate research included work on the fairness of resource allocations and realizations of a fog networking architecture. I have also published on classical molecular control, which was the subject of my undergraduate thesis at Princeton.
