Please read the following instructions very carefully before you prepare and submit your final manuscripts. Final manuscripts, copyright form and response to the reviewers' comments are due on:

Regular papers and short papers

Some papers are accepted for regular presentations (regular papers), and the others for poster presentations (short papers).  The instructions for preparing final manuscripts are identical for the both types of papers except for the number of pages.

Please download a copyright form, sign it, and mail it or fax it to one of the following addresses by May 7, 2006:

Prepare your final manuscripts

The GMP2006 proceedings will be published as a volume of the Springer Lecture Note in Computer Science (LNCS)  Your final  manuscripts need to be in the LNCS format to be included in the GMP2006 proceedings.

Regular papers:
For papers accepted for a regular presentation the standard length is 14 pages in the LNCS format.  For a paper over 14 pages, there will be a $100 extra charge to be included in the GMP2006 proceedings.  No regular paper should be longer than 20 pages.

Short papers:
For short papers accepted for a poster presentation the standard length is 7 pages in the LNCS format.  For a paper over 7 pages, there will be a $100 extra charge to be included in the GMP2006 proceedings.  No short paper should be longer than 10 pages.

Submit your final manuscripts

Submit your final manuscripts at:

On the web page you will need to submit:

  • Response to reviewers' comments
    State clearly how you have modified your paper based on the reviewers' comments.

  • Final PDF file
    The proceedings will be typeset by the publisher, Springer, Your PDF file will show the publisher the intended appearance/format of your paper.

  • Complete set of source (input) files
    Please compress all the files to a single file with zip, tar, tar.gz or tar.Z.  A complete set of source files should include the following:
          if you are preparing your manuscript with LaTeX/Tex
          (this is preferred)

  • For example, LaTeX2e files for the text and PS or EPS files for figures

  • Final DVI file

  • Final PS file (please avoid using the option "reverse order")

      if you are using word-processing software other than
      LaTeX/TeX

  • RTF files
