take part in the summer tennis ladder by emailing tennis-people at cmu dot edu.

you can challenge any player (by email or by calling) and play best of 3 sets or if both players agree play a super tie-break (first to 10 points with 2 point difference) instead of the third set (and record the 3rd set as 7-6).

if the winner is higher ranked than the loser, (s)he gets 20 points, otherwise his/her previous point value is replaced by the value of the opponent’s points plus 20 points and the loser gets 1 point for each game won.

example: if a match finishes with the score 7-6 6-7 7-6 the winner gets 20 points and the loser gets 19 points.
