My Life in A Few Sentences
In 1988, Yiming Zhang was born in city called ShenYang. It is the capital of the LiaoNing province located in the northeastern part of China. He moved to New York at the age 12 with his parents.Yiming came to the United States knowing a few words in Enlgish. He was fluent in English at the end of his middle school years.After graduating from St. Mary's High School in Manhasset, New York, he enrolled in Carnegie Mellon University. located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.Yiming is now a fourth year student, he is pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree of Information Systems with an additional Bachelor of Science degree of Economics.
Growing up, Yiming always had a variety of interests. He enjoys playing and watching most of competitive sports, especially soccer and basketball. He played varsity soccer during high school.Yiming is passionate about traveling, he spends a big portions of his vacations on traveling around the globe. He has been to Canada, Argentina, Netherland, England, France, Germany, Austraia, Belgium, Czech Republic, Spain and Italy. He believes that life is too short to sit around and wait for something surprising to happen, one has to go out and find those amazing moments.Yiming spends rest of his spare times on watching movies and playing card games. He plays Chinese poker, Big Two, Spades, Hearts, Stud, Omaha and Texas Hold'em.
