People at the Gates Center

Our instructor, the construction workers, Andrew, and our class were at the site on the 14th of February.

Everyone in the picture has something in common; wearing the helmet.

It is true the environment and conditions for the workers have improved substantially over a period of time.

It, however, is still important for everyone to wear a safety helmet at the site.

Under consturction - All the construction workers are busy to do thier tasks, and machines are doing their parts. Everything is everywhere. The construction site is a chaotic place with people, machines, and WORK.

Adaptation

You need to be able to adapt to the construction site if you want to work in the site. Hanging gogles off of the steel structure & making fences along the edge of the board are examples of adaptation of workers to the site conditions.

Memorable things from the site in Feburary

The portable toilet - a lot of contruction workers share one more thing; the portable toilet. I wish they have better toilets someday.

The concrete wall - the element to build the Gates Center looks like a building or a monument. Can I say a building or monument can build another building?

Mary Lou Arscott - our kind instructor has fancy hairstyle.
