Linux Support

Support for Linux from SCS Computing Facilities is very limited at present.

Currently Available services are:

Backups (for on-site machines)
GP cycles (I.GP)
AFS space for collection maintainers who want it.

Linux Home Page at www.linux.org, a good source of general information about Linux, with pointers to other resources.
Linux Documentation Project, an archive of FAQ's and HOWTO's.
