I'm originally from Syracuse, IN. I attended college in Lexington, KY and worked in Los Alamos, NM before starting my PhD in Pittsburgh, PA.
I have also earned a masters degree in Machine Learning from the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University.
I am a founding member of the Event and Pattern Detection Laboratory headed by my academic advisor, Daniel Neill. My interdisciplinary work also includes Heinz College's iLab and the Robotics Institute's AutonLab.
