Welcome

I am a PhD candidate in Information Systems and Public Policy in the Heinz College and a graduate student in the Machine Learning Department at Carnegie Mellon University. My interest is in developing computationally efficient statistical machine learning algorithms to pattern detection in large scale data for public good.

I am a member of the Event and Pattern Detection laboratory headed by my advisor Professor Daniel B. Neill. Also, I am a member of Auton Lab and iLab.

I completed my Masters in Computer Science from the Department of Computer Science and Automation at Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore and my thesis advisor was Professor Y. Narahari. Also, I worked for a couple of years as a Software Development Engineer at Microsoft India Development Center.
