Bucket of Pain

Bucket of Pain

Players 3

Show Rating 5

Description
Two players begin a scene. The third person is offstage with his head immersed in a bucket of water. When that person starts to run out of air, he raises his hand. A player on stage must justify an exit, pull the player's head out of the bucket, and immerse his own head. The new player must enter the scene and justify his or her soaking wet hair. Continue until the scene is over, somebody drowns, or you spill the water all over the stage, and management throws you out. Be sure to work out your signals on "I'm almost out of air, but you have time." and "Get me out of here before I drown, you pricks!" beforehand. It's all sorts of fun to make the audience nervous about the welfare of the person in the pain position... until he drowns. Then it's not so much fun. Plus, it's really hard to finish the scene while EMS is breaking the fourth wall.
