"Wiki, Wiki" means Fast in Hawaiian. Technology has used the term wiki to describe the new form of technology that is basically a group of websites. The difference between a regular webpage and a wiki is that wiki's can be modified by anyone. They are often used for communities of people who use the webpage as a colobarative place to store information and can be very usefull in a workplace. Most people know the idea of wiki based on the public encyclopedia called Wikipedia. The website is an online encyclopedia that can be modified by anybody. This could lead to an issue with accuracy in information. Most wiki pages are easy to change, but often have a security feature so that it is easy to see recent changes so a modifier would be able to check accuracy. There is also a special Wiki set up similar to html, but much more simple. Simplicity means faster, and faster means "WIKI!"
