About Me

I was born and brought up in a small town called Kharagpur near the city of Kolkata(formerly Calcutta) in the eastern part of India.I completed my undergraduate studies in Mathematics & Computing in 2006 with an Integrated Master of Science degree, from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.

Currently,I am a fourth year graduate student in the Joint Carnegie Mellon-University of Pittsburgh, PhD Program in Computational Biology (CPCB).I am working on Single Molecule Approach to Biology with my advisor Marcel Bruchez in the Molecular Biosensor and Imaging Center at Carnegie Mellon University.
