In a fine example of the ‘much-too-cliched’ theory of evolution, I, to put it simply, have evolved. The journey, though ordinary, has meant jumping from one stone to the other ever watchful of the next step; never loosing sight or grip of the earlier. I have come a quarter cycle starting from an introverted sixth grader followed by a rebellious high schooler leading to an immature teenager, a care-free bachelor and eventually to a semi-responsible husband. It has been a rich and eventful experience; rich symbolizing the successes and highs, the eventful iconizing the real lessons in life.
Having said that, I am currently a final year Ph.D. Student at the Department of Engineering and Public Policy at the Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh. I am also a part of the Center for Atmospheric Particle Studies (CAPS) and the Adams Group. Broadly, my Ph.D. research involves understanding the sources of outdoor air pollution and its impact on climate change and public health.
