Shivang Shekhar

I am a 3rd year PhD student at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Carnegie Mellon University, working with Prof. Burak Ozdoganlar. My research interests include:

  • High-quality modal testing of miniature and compliant structures
  • Study of dynamics and vibrations of ultra-high-speed (UHS) spindles used in micro-machining processes [Short video]
  • Numerical analysis of structures using a 3D spectral-Tchebyshev approach
