I am broadly interested in computer networks and systems. My specific areas of focus include software-defined networking (SDN), network function virtualization (NFV), middleboxes, and content distribution. I enjoy designing and applying novel algorithms while building systems. I am advised by Professor Vyas Sekar. Before coming to CMU, I received a Master's in Computer Science from Stony Brook University, New York. Prior to that, I graduated from Amirkabir University of Technology (Tehran Polytechnic), Iran.
