Computer Safety is mainly about protecting all information stored in your computer as to avoid theft.
Why do we need computer safety?
It is very essential nowadays to protect the data base you have in your computer for the following main reasons:
Protect valuable information. For instance, governmental top secret documents.
Ensures the safety of all resources such as, university
Provide people privacy. For example, If you have your family
’s pictures or your wedding photos saved in your computer you might want them to remain as private as possible.What are the main components of a successful computer security system?
If I decided that I need a powerful computer security system I would certainly consider the following :
The level of confidentiality this system will offer us . In other words ,
Integrity , protect copy rights …..
Availability , not all computerized systems should be available for the public . Else wise , people might end in heavy traffic jams everyday due to manipulation of the system .
