I'm a PhD candidate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University where I joined the program in January 2009. I earned my master's degree in enginreering science from Simon Fraser University, Canada, in 2008 and my bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Iran, in 2006.

My area of interest is theory and applications of Signal Processing. In particular, I'm interested in Compressed Sensing and other subjects related to Sparse Representation.
