Welcome
I'm a dual PhD student at Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) in Pittsburgh (USA), and at the University of Aveiro (UA) in Aveiro (Portugal), since 2011. I am supervised by Prof. Ozan Tonguz at CMU and by Prof. Susana Sargento at UA. Since 2011, I have been a Research Assistant and have been working on self-organized networks and particularly on vehicular ad hoc wireless networks (VANET).
I have received both my B.S. and M.S. degrees in electrical engineering and telecommunications from the University of Aveiro, Aveiro, Portugal in 2011. In 2011, I performed a curricular internship with Portugal Telecom Inovacao on virtual networks. My research interests include networking algorithms, self-organization and virtual networks.
