Hard work needs to be rewarded. Whether it's traveling the world, playing video games, or dancing the night away, Richard finds a way to enjoy himself.
Professionally and socially Richard is constantly moving upwards to new and better things.
Having started from the bottom, Richard always tries to give back. Whether it be volunteering around the world like in Rwanda or mentoring students at CMU.
Since I was little, my brother and I would often help out at my dads bodega in Brooklyn. My first job outside of my dad's store was a summer working at Burger King as a cashier. I look fondly back to the time as there were many good memories, but also many horror stories. Let's just say I really respect people in the industry and I will still refuse to eat fast food.
My first internship was at Visa in their Miami office. This was a super cool experience as I got to work with a tiny team of 3 people on Visa's social media customer service and it got me into the digital space.
My most recent internship was at the corporate giant IBM in their NYC astor place office. This experience was unique as I got to see what it's like being on a more young and techy team within an old corporation. I definitely had a blast on the IBM Cloud team and it helped me solidify my desire to be in the digital space.
At this moment, I have no idea where I'll end up. I know I want to be in the technology space doing business so the opportunities are endless. Regardless, I'm excited to see what the future holds.
