Brief Professional Biography
Ryan Hallahan is a Ph.D. candidate and Bertucci Graduate Fellow in the Department of Engineering
& Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University. His broad
research interests are in spectrum management and wireless
telecommunications policy. His dissertation is focused on methods
and proposals for improving public safety wireless communication
systems in the United States. His papers have been presented at the
Telecommunications Policy Research Conference (TPRC) and published in
Telecommunications Policy. He has a M.S. in Electrical
& Computer Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a
B.S. in Engineering Physics from the University of California,
Berkeley.
