Something to be careful about, when trying to use multiple RCX units at a time:
Always turn off the other RCX before programming!
I can't tell you how many times I've accidently reprogrammed both robots with the same code, and then been unable to figure out why nothing worked. Even though I keep my IR tower on a shelf about three feet above my desk, and place the RCX to be programmed directly in front of the tower, and have the other RCX sitting on the surface of the desk facing away from the tower, I still have managed to program both at the same time. It's best just to make a habit of keeping one off while programming the other.
