I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science in 2024 at Carnegie Mellon University with a minor in Hispanic Studies. I continued with the Fifth Year Scholarship to pursue my interests in computer science, languages, and education. My research about the effects of one's native language on the process of learning to code recently won the Dietrich Humanities Prize for undergraduate research.
Beyond that research project, I am broadly interested in the ways people interact with software systems. This includes anything from programming languages to human computer interaction.
In 2026 I will be completing a Fulbright English Teaching Assistantship in Peru.
Other interests include table tennis and crosswords.
