Introduction to Database Management
This course introduces the relational database model, entity-relationship diagrams, data flow diagrams, structured query language, forms, and reports using the Microsoft Access database package. Here is the syllabus for this course.
Organizational Design and Implementation
This course focuses on organizational behavior with an eye toward using such information for managing in complex organizations. It's main purpose is to provide managers with skills and perspectives that will enable them to work successfully in organizations. Here is the description for this course.
Intermediate Empirical Methods
This course is intend to the topics include basic probability through Bayes rule, probability distributions, sample survey methods, Bayesian analysis, linear regression with one explanatory variable, design of policy and management experiments. Here is the syllabus for this course.
Applied Econometrics I
The primary objectives of this course are to to help the students become discriminating consumers and producers of econometric studies. This requires consideration of formal statistical models, but considerable attention is also devoted to implications for interpreting empirical studies. Also, in this semestor, we are using STATA to analyize the data. Here is the description for this course.
Ph.D. Microeconomics I
This course provides a introduction to microeconomic analysis and its application. The primary objective of the course is to familiarize students with the microeconomic paradigm, and develop an appreciation of the usefulness (and limitations) of microeconomic analysis.
