ABOUT SotR

Scotch on the Rocks (SotR) is Scotch 'n' Soda's somewhat annual one-act festival. Traditionally, it is comprised of student-written works and produced, directed, and performed (as in the traditional SnS manner) entirely by students.

So what's a one act? A one act is a short play that takes place in one act or usually one scene as opposed to more common plays that takes place over a number of scenes in one or more acts. They tend to be simpler, have less props and scenery, as well as few cast members (sometimes only one).

This website is going to be the information hub for all matters involving the upcoming one act festival. Please check back often for new information.
