NATURAL LEARNING

UNREVIEWED SUMMARY:
What do we mean by 'Natural Language Processing?'
Natural language processing (NLP) is one field of cumputer science, artificial intelligence, and computational linguistics concerned with the interactions between computers and human (natural) languages. It helps the computers to be able to understand human speech.
The history of Natural Language Processing began in 1950.
<

Applications of NLP in our life:
1- It is used alot in mobile phones, its so helpful for blind people too. it enable blind people to use phones easily.
2- Experts are working on NLP to improve its understanding to the human way of talking.
3-Most programs that recognize what the person is saying and translate it or do whatever the user ask it to do. Siri is one of the examples.
4- NLP is used in checking the grammar or writing, and show the mistakes. It also can write what the person is saying.
5- It can summarize any paragraph or any text. There are many other applications that have already been released and used by many people.
6-experts and computer scientists are working on developing it and making it more comfortable with people's speech and be able to do what it needs to be able to do in a perfect way.

What are difficulties in Natural Language Processing?
1-Word pronunciations are sometimes very hard for the computers to get it clearly.
2-It is so hard to teach the computer English lessons or grammar, because in about every grammar, there is something different that breaks the whole rule, in which it make the issue more and more harder to be programmed.
3-Some sentences in english can be parsed in different ways that human may understand while the computer systems not.
4-When pronouns are used to refer to something, computer systems often get confused to what does the pronoun refer.
5-Some inputs can mean different meanings, while sometimes many inputs can mean the same thing.

There are many aspects that have Natural language processsing used it. NLP is widely used in the mobile phones. For example, it is helpful for blind people to let them interact with their phones without challenges. Experts are working on NLP to improve its understanding what the user says to the phone. NLP has also been used in checking the writing mistakes, or also writing what the person is pronouncing. it can summarize any paragraph or any text. There are many other applications that have already been released and used by many people. Moreover, experts and computer scientists are working on developing it and making it more comfortable with people's speech and be able to do what it needs to be able to do in a perfect way
