I am a fourth year graduate student in the Joint CMU-Pitt Phd Program in Computational Biology. I comes from Shanghai, China, where I was born and had my pre-college education. I received my B.Sc. degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong with major in Molecular Biotechnology and minors in Computer Science and Mathematics. I currently work in Dr. Dannie Durand's lab at Mellon Institute.

Main research area: Molecular Evolution and Comparative Genomics
Hobby-related resaarch area: Machine Learning, History, Molecular Anthropology, Natural Language Processing, and Social Network Analysis.
