Hobbies: Sports
Arts. The title sounds more complex than it actually is, but I didn't find another title meaning that I like painting, music, books, movies and so on. I would like have been an artist but I do not have enough talent to do it. Anyway, a quick review of what kind of things all like to do in concerning arts:
Soccer
In Chile, by far, soccer is the most popular sport. When national team plays, 70,000 people go to the National Stadium. There is no other sport that get together this amount of people in Chile. As almost every Chilean, I love soccer.
As spectator, I am a Universidad Catolica fan. As a player my favorite position is like a middle defender but I enjoy playing in any position. Even I am a decent goalkeeper. In Chile I was playing soccer twice a week, but now in Pittsburgh I have not too much time to do it. Maybe after qualifier exams...
Running
The main problem with soccer is that you need to agree with another 21 players to organize a full field match or at least another 9 to play in a reduced field. A great advantage of running is that you do not absolutely nothing beside you to do it. Soccer is funnier, but running strengthen your mind.
One of the most exiting things of running is the amazing environment around any race. All people is happy and trying to do her best. Now, I usually register for 7 or 10 km runs. I am not prepared to run a marathon yet. My best time for the 10 km is 55'24''. It is a good score for a 40 years old runner. The problem is I am less than 30 years old :(
Other Sports
In general I like almost any normal sport. In particular I like tennis, swimming, volleyball, baskeball, cycling and recently I am starting to like American Football (Go Steelers!). So If you need an additional player, I will be happy to do it!..
