Microsoft Research Asia, Beijing, China, September 2012 -- May 2013
Full-time Student Internship

  • Developed different models of natural language generation, such as grammar rule based model and HMM-based model.
  • Tested these models on CMU Lets-go bus corpus, XBOX360 movie query and François Mairesse's restaurant recommendation corpus.
  • Wrote over 200,000 lines of code in C#

Interlink, Tokyo, Japan, Summer 2011
Full-time Student Internship

  • Built an email system that allows large (1000GB) attachment files in SMTP.
  • Designed user action logic.
  • Programmed in Perl and JQuery.

Academic Projects

Mobile User Tracking System, Tsinghua University, Summer 2012

  • Maintained a database for mobile user data. Developed a web interface for data access.
  • Applied Hibernate architecture for dynamic web pages to display these data.
  • Realized user authentication.
  • Provided JSON interface for receiving user data from Android client apps.

Microprocessor Design, Tsinghua University, Summer 2011

  • Built a microprocessor on an FPGA. Code written in Verilog.
  • Applied classic RISC pipeline.

  • Designed a simulation system to help decide whether city planners should build a new road.
