As a Project Scientist at Carnegie Mellon's
Interactive Systems Laboratories with a B.S degree from Carnegie Mellon
in Applied Mathematics/ Computer Science and over thirteen years experience,
I have extensive experience in developing and fielding object oriented systems
in a multitude of languages and systems including Java, HTML, C, and C++.
I am currently pursuing my MSIA (Masters of Science Industrial
Administration) at Carnegie Mellon's Graduate
School of Industrial Administration. I plan to graduate in October
2000.
My attached resume reflects the key roles I have
played in several object oriented knowledge based planning, scheduling, and
ECAD products for Carnegie Mellon, Carnegie Group, as well as for Trimeter
Technologies, with these highlights:
-
I am involved in leading all phases of the design, development, and deployment
of new products.
-
I currently manage Carnegie Mellon's portion of the
Genoa project, a crisis identification
and mitigation tool being developed for DARPA. I also am developing
an automatic meeting summarizer and browser that allows users to quickly
review meetings through a combination of audio, video, and text.
-
I completed a two year assignment during which I lead a seven member team
in the development of a theater level medical evacuation scheduling and planning
system for US TRANSCOM. This project,
TRAC2ES, was developed
using Rumbaugh's OMT in Paradigm Plus and is currently being deployed
worldwide.
-
I also completed a three year assignment during which I lead a four member
software development team for one of Carnegie Group's simultaneous engineering
projects. This project,
MDRC, is currently in
use by Ford Motor Company to insure the manufacturability of their printed
circuit boards in the design phase.
-
Prior to joining Carnegie Group, I was employed as a software engineer at
Trimeter Technologies where I used my expertise in Boolean algebra, algorithms,
artificial intelligence and mathematical skills. Among other projects, I
designed and implemented the software used to perform Boolean factorization
of a two level PLA.
