I am a first year grad student in Entertainment Technology Program at the ETC, at Carnegie Mellon University.

Bio

Brought up almost entirely in the bustling city of Bombay, Maria's got the never-say-die Bombay spirit in her blood.

No, she didn't always want to be an animator nor was she into computer graphics. Infact, at one time, she even thought she she saw business in the future (don't tell anyone, though).

It was during her Master's course, that she was introduced to CG and it was a whirlwind romance. She found herself fascinated by a technology that allowed her to create a fantastic world and mesmerize people.

After a short stint at a gaming company and then a little research, she decided to put foundations under the castle that she'd been building for herself in the rarefied air of the world of animators, wizards, programmers and goblins.

Thus, you see her at the ETC.
