Task Force on Anti-Sweatshop Labor (non-active)

Anti-Sweatshop Labor

In the Fall of 1999, Carnegie Mellon’s administration approved the formation of the University Task Force on Anti-Sweatshop Labor.

Comprised of faculty, staff and students, this task force was charged with the responsibility of writing a code of conduct that addressed the anti-sweatshop movement. The committee then recommended this code be adopted as University Policy.

Carnegie Mellon University’s Code of  Workplace Conduct for Trademark Licensees was approved by the President’s Council on April 12, 2002
