![]() We are a small but widely dispersed group of believers of Feranimism, a spiritual school of thought as well as political movement brought to life by the activist and prophetess Mary Spencer only eight years ago. We believe that the souls of all members of the animal kingdom are equal and that the extravagances and wastefulness of human civilization are completely unacceptable. Today Feranimism is more important than ever before. Members of Feranimists of America are dedicated to deteriorating the harmful and excessive practices of the human lifestyle all the while spreading the teachings and philosophies of our beloved Mary Spencer all over the world. We believe in the Sacred Writings transcribed by Mary Spencer in the Revelations of Kee Teppa. Unfortunately, many of the scriptures were destroyed at San Francisco's Ocean Beach when a group of hoodlums stole the sacred documents and publicly burned them in November of 1998. To read some recovered selections of the manuscript, visit our Kee Teppa page. Our guiding principles from the same holy document are summarized into the following Seven Sacred Truths and Seven Laws of Being: Seven Sacred Truths (condensed from the Revelations of Kee Teppa) 1. The souls of all living beings are equal and immortal. 2. Human dominance is based on unfair evolutionary advantage. 3. Human civilization has ravaged the natural world for several millennia, increasingly so in the past century. 4. A supreme divine power exists only as the total spiritual force of our collective souls. 5. The true identity of every being’s soul is an Animal Spirit, whose form is independent of the being’s mortal species. 6. When a being reaches ultimate enlightenment and communion with his Animal Spirit, the latter will abandon its earthly vessel to ascend to a higher plane of existence: The Tree of Life. 7. In the Tree of Life, there is infinite peace, and eternal happiness; the Animal Spirits become one. 7 Laws of Being (condensed from the Revelations of Kee Teppa) 1. Do not harm or kill animals. 2. Do not enslave animals or ask them to do your bidding. 3. Do not use excessive things or space, for all is to be shared among the species. 4. Do not consume the flesh, milk, or eggs of any animal or use their bodies for your own purposes. 5. Keep sacred the holy meditation rites of Mary Spencer. 6. Make conscious efforts to defend animals and nature. 7. Do not bury your dead with the impediments of caskets or other methods of preservation. |
