Hello! Welcome to my web page. Here is some brief information about me, more
detailed information about various topics can be found in the links
above.
I am currently an assistant professor in the
Department
of Philosophy at
Carnegie
Mellon University. My research focuses on
game theory,
agent
based modeling, and the
philosophy
of science. I received a Ph.D. and M.A. in
Philosophy from the
Department
of Logic and Philosophy of Science at the
University of California,
Irvine. Before that, I received a
B.S. in Philosophy
from
Kansas State
University. While at Kansas State I was an intercollegiate debater, with some success.
I'm originally from
Manhattan,
Kansas; my
mother
and
father
are both
professors at Kansas State. I have a
wonderful, lovely partner Korryn Mozisek, who is currently
pursuing a Ph.D. in
rhetoric at
Indiana University, Bloomington.
I spend a lot of time working, as one might expect. When I stumble over spare time, I like to play
poker or contribute to
Wikipedia.
My work on Wikipedia is largely fueled by my interest (obsession) with
open-source and
copyleft. In keeping with this, the material on this page is provided under the
