Randy Pausch was a professor of computer science, human-computer interaction, and design at Carnegie Mellon University. He was born on October 23, 1960, and passed away on July 25, 2008 from pancreatic cancer.

Randy Pausch was known for being an inspiring and engaging speaker. He was also a renowned professor known for his interdisciplinary approach and the creation of the Alice software project.
5 points that I liked in his talk
- I liked his explanation of TODO list using four quadrants. I will definitely incorporate it into my routine.
- Thank you notes. It is a very powerful way of telling someone how much we appreciate them, and I loved how Randy Pausch brought it up.
- Work-life balance is very important. Even if you work fewer hours with a good work-life balance, you get more done.
- We are all deadline driven. I love his idea of making fake deadlines and acting like it's real.
- I love his engaging and humorous style of presenting. I couldn't stop watching the video because of how interesting it was.
