Military Manuals Hardee's 1855 Manual Hardee's School of the Battalion--a discussion about how to read; in a sensical order as specified by Hardee himself (why didn't he write it that way?) Casey's Tactics. Choose "US Regulars--Military Archives" and then "Casey's 1862 Infantry Tactics". A modern-english interpretation of both Hardee's and Casey's Tactics has been done by reenactor Dominic dal Bello: Parade, Inspection and Basic Evolutions of the Infantry Battalion. Dom has several other great books as well on various aspects of reenacting based on 19th-century military manuals. The Drill Network presented by Co.
