BEHOLD: THE STRUCTURAL COMPONENT!

Of course, the single most important aspect of the Murderator was the “STRUCTURAL COMPONENT,” a piece of mangled aluminium found on the floor of the shop, which was whimsically bolted to the base of our project as both an artistic installation and a key engineering feature. In addition to holding up the entire structure, the STRUCTURAL COMPONENT offers a commentary on both engineering and life as a whole. Rather than simply giving up after being subjected to stress to the point of failure, this brave piece of aluminium chose to continue fighting, to try to accomplish its goal in the face of great adversity. At its heart, the STRUCTURAL COMPONENT represents what we all strive to be, that deterimination to fight on even in the face of impossiblility. In the end, the STRUCTURAL COMPONENT should be seen not only as a marvel of engineering but also as an inspiration to us all.
