John Paul (JP)

I am a sophomore at Carnegie Mellon who is living the life. Born and raised on 56 Locksley Dr, Pittsburgh, PA, 15235 I went kicking and screaming to a preppy private school in the most expensive part of the city, even though I had to take a 45 minute bus ride to get there with only 5 other people on it. Getting into Carnegie Mellon was a dream, free tuition and a double legacy with my dad still working for campus and home being 15 minutes away is ideal for someone with a mom who likes to keep tabs on him and somebody who already feels comfortable in this city. Private school make me a better writer then most, and so Creative Writing was the major to get me in, but I have since tacked on Information Systems, which supposedly is more credible. I still prefer writing with pen and paper then in computer code, but hope to use my wits with words to make myself a valued entity in any project team. Ultimate Frisbee is my game, video games, and TV are passions, girls were only in high school (so far), but every summer it’s off to Greece for months: beaches, islands, sun, food, the euro, girls I don’t need to understand; I get around just fine thank you.
