Saludos! I am a Lane Fellow at the Computational Biology Department in the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University, under the advisement of Professors Ziv Bar-Joseph and Robert F. Murphy. Prior to that, I received my doctoral degree in Computer Science at Indiana University, under the guidance of Professor Predrag Radivojac.

My research aims to develop the next generation of mechanism-driven computational methods to perform learning, inference and decision making on biomedical and health care data for accelerating scientific knowledge discovery and generating confident and testable data-driven discoveries.
