Hello! Welcome to my website!

I am currently a graduate student at Carnegie Mellon University's Entertainment Technology Center (ETC). I have enjoyed console video games since the Nintendo era, and consider myself to be a hardcore gamer. It has been my dream to work in the video gaming industry since high school, and I aim to do so after graduating from the ETC.

I am a native of Pittsburgh, PA, and after pursuing a B.A. in Communications at Slippery Rock University I decided to further my education with the ETC in hopes of increasing my ability to enter the video gaming industry. Originally, I dreamt of being the creative director for video games. I learned, however, that I would need more than just my creativity to enter the gaming industry. Once at the ETC, I have taken every opportunity to strengthen my skills as a producer and have also explored sound design.

My studies have taken me to Japan twice. Both times I spent an entire academic semester residing and studying in Japan. The first time was during my undegraduate time, and my most recent time was the Spring semester of 2008. During the Spring of 2008, I was part of the first group of students to open the ETC Japan campus in Osaka, Japan. Both experiences have been invaluable as they have sharpened my Japanese language skills.
