At night you can see evidence of the people who were on the beach that day. Sandcastles and even wooden structures are waiting to be wiped away. Out of the corners of our eyes to the North on the beach there seemed to be a flash of light in the blackness. It flashed again and it seemed to be a stark white face of some sort. Another flash and it was definitely getting very close to us. People are saying "what is that?" It makes a loud shriek and it is right in front of us with a light on its face. It is Petr wearing a glow in the dark mask and holding a large flashlight. He rode his bicycle down and we all congratulated him on a fantastic and theatrical entrance. His English is so minimal that just about the only way he can communicate is through theatrics. His wife luckily teaches English so it is as if he brought an interpreter with him. On our walk back in the dark, the road splits. One road goes further up the hill the other leads to our houses. Petr rode his bike up the high road howling through a long tube like a wild animal lurking in the trees waiting to gobble us up.

We went back to my house, played pool, drank "Wod-ka" ate birthday cake, listened and danced to " I Want To Love You But You're Too Damn Stupid" and other hits of the day.
