These images show the results of a visual excursion of mine. I was curious what kinds of swirls could be formed from the colors of the rainbow. So created a rainbow in Illustrator, and twisted it. And I continued to twist it. And some great swirls emerged. However, I started to notice that by resizing the swirls, certain visual anomalies would emerge, and introduce randomness. The randomness was quite appealing.

A great next step might be to perform this swirling action in real-time, in front of a viewer. If the motion was smooth, it might be pleasing to watch.
