Welcome!

Welcome to my Website! I live and attend school in Pittsburgh, PA. I am majoring in Technical Writing and English, with a minor in Business Adminstration at Carnegie Mellon University.

I am interested on how communications, language, and the rhetoric in a vastly global economy are influenced through our perceptive taken from various different literary texts. Moreover, these universal themes illustrated in classical literature are at many times referenced directly or indirectly in both written and verbal communciation. How will these influences on rhetoric and literary studies impact the future and its increasing stride towards globalization?

This interest stemmed from a research experience where I conducted a study tracking linguistics patterns of multi-resolution human descriptions in an array of classical novels. My research, then, corresponded to a new computer program which transforms the human descriptions into a generic model, like a sketch artist. It was most exciting to see my English research correspond to modern technology in improving everyday systems, like criminal recognition. This was an opportunity to see that English literary studies were not merely exclusive in academic analysis but could also transcend new boundaries and across disciplines.
