[1] George is almost certainly a reference to Saint George, Patron Saint of England.
[2] Salutation, besides having the meaning of a greeting, was used in the 16th C to refer to the Ave Maria and to representations of the Annunciation.
[3] Angel may refer to a heavenly being, but it is more likely to refer to a coin. In 16th C pamphlets and broadsheets, the word Angel is often shorthand for an Angel Noble, a gold coin stamped with the Archangel Michael piercing a dragon.
[4] Bush is a branch or bundle of ivy hung as a vintner's sign. The word is also a generic termd for "tavern"
[5] Packstaff is a peddlar's staff
[6] Standish is an inkstand or inkpot
[7] Rape is probably a turnip or radish.
