About Me I am currently enrolled in the accelerated Master’s program in Health Care Policy and Management (HCPM) at Carnegie Mellon University’s H. John Heinz III School of Public Policy and Management. Best described as “an MBA with a health care focus”, the HCPM program offers rigorous analytical and business training. I am innately attracted to understanding and solving problems to ensure optimal solutions, which I believe is a crucial skill in successful consultants. I have previously obtained a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, and worked as an engineer in the commercial nuclear industry. My academic background and professional experience in engineering have equipped me with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Additionally, my project management role taught me leadership initiatives, organizational structuring, and resource utilization in team work. In 2005, I left Westinghouse to pursue a full-time entrepreneurial venture following my passion in automotive racing technology. I created, financed, and currently manage a high-performance automotive consulting and retail business. Through my entrepreneurial venture, I have also gained and sharpened critical leadership, marketing, and management skills. I discovered a passion for business development and marketing strategies, which I believe are transferable to a consulting function. Career Goals My multifaceted background provides me the assets necessary to perform well in a consulting setting, and will enable me to contribute positively. I am excited by the work handled by consulting firms, and I aspire to a career in consulting. Links H.
