About
I joined the Computer Science PhD program at
Carnegie Mellon University in Fall 2008.
I am advised by Dr.
Martial Hebert and Dr.
Fernando De la Torre
both from the Robotics Institute.
I am interested in sensing the environment through computer vision, machine learning, and sensor fusion. In specific, I am working on perception from multiple sensors, automatic temporal segmentation and classification, continuous data, incorporating semantic information with wearable sensors, combining video annotation and ontologies. I am also very passionate about educational outreach in science at the middle and high school levels. I received my B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics from University of Arizona in 2007, where I was advised by Dr. Kobus Barnard, and worked closely with Dr. Barry Pryor and Dr. Emily Butler. |
