Chintan Parikh

Update: I completed my MS - ECE from CMU in Dec 2010, and starting next year I would be working at Apple in Cupertino, CA.

I am first year masters student in the ECE department at Carnegie Mellon University. I completed my undergraduate studies from National Institute of Technology, Trichy in the Instrumentation and Control Engineering department. After graduating in 2007, I worked in industry for two years at NXP Semiconductors and later was part of wireless alliance ST - Ericsson, Bangalore. My area of interest is in broad aras of Computer Systmes, especially Operating Systems, Drivers, File systems, Embedded Systems etc.

This Spring 10 semster, I am taking Operating Systems, Storage Systems and a Research project (under Prof. Raj Rakumar on Power management in ANdroid Phones). Also I am Teaching Assistant for 18540- Rapid Prototyping of Computer Systems Course.
